Twenty four hours after the world’s first set of giant panda twins this year was born on 6^th August, Qiyuan’s twin sister “Rainbow” (originally named Qizhen, then adopted by Shanghai Shengda corporation in June 2006 and re-named “Rainbow”),gave birth to twin male cubs on 7^th August. This is a world first, that twin giant panda mothers have given birth to twin cubs within 24 hours, and is considered a miracle.
